Zhong You – Origami Engineer

The latest issue of Science ( June 17, 2011, volume 332 issue 6036 pages 1376-1377 ) has an article about Dr. Zhong You, an engineer at the University of Oxford, who specializes in using the Japanese art of origami or paper folding to create strong foldable structures such as stents for opening arteries, folding solar panels, crush resistant packaging and other structures.
