Engineering Village Update – February 14, 2007

Engineering Village will release an updated version of its database on February 14th.  This updated version will allow you to tag records within Compendex (add informal subject descriptors such as “six sigma”), as well as make these tags public (to share with colleagues) or private (only viewable by you).  This is the type of “folksonomy” tagging used in Web applications such as Del.icio.us.com and Flickr.com.

If you are a faculty, staff or student at WMU, you can access Engineering Village here.
