WMU CEAS Engineering Management #1

Great news for the start of this week!!! From a recent email by Dean Dr. Tim Greene, WMU’s “MS in Engineering Management has been selected by the American Society for Engineering Management as the best graduate engineering management program in the United States for 2006! In addition, our B.S. in Engineering Management Technology has been selected as the number three best B.S. program in the United States for 2006.”

Congratulations to Dr. Tim Greene, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Dr. Larry Mallak and Dr. David Lyth for this honor.

  1. Hi I have a BTech in Mechatronics Engineering from a South African University (CPUT). I would like to go more into a management position later in my career but I would like to start prepping for that now. My current position is Maintenance Supervisor for the Managed Pressure Drilling Department for an international drilling company. Do you perhaps know if taking a management course rather than doing a degree will help more?

    Regards
